OOOOHhhh, big day! Al gets to meet our caseworker for our home study! Since we have engaged June as our social worker, she and I have met the required 4 times. Julee met her during one of our get togethers. But the geographically-challenged dad in all this has missed out. So, June and Al have set up a special meeting in Gaffney, SC on October 28th! That is about 30 minutes from June's Spartanburg, SC home and about 50 miles from Al's Charlotte location. I know the two of them will hit it off, although I do not know which one will get a word in edgewise!!!!!!!!!!!
UPDATE: Al really enjoyed meeting June. They were both early and had no trouble finding each other cause Al told her he'd have on his Green Bay jacket! He was pleasantly surprised at June's laid back, relaxed personality. The 10 minute meeting stretched to an hour or so - no surprise there. And no one got lost!
