With a few simple discussions and a unanimous decision, we decided to go ahead and hold our scheduled Tastefully Simple Fundraiser for Chelsee just 4 days after my dad passed away. We just knew he would hate it if we changed any plans because of him, so we went ahead with it and it was a great decision. Over 30 guests showed up for our party and many others sent in their orders. My amazing sister pulled off a fantastic party and generously donated all her proceeds to the Change for China Fund. It really was a wonderful celebration of life amidst an unbelievably sad time.
My sister set an all time high sales record for this party and donated almost $600 to the fund!!! I am so proud of her.
Thank you just doesn't seem adequate for all the love and support everyone has shown us as we struggle to find a new normal ... and as we continue to have to wait to get our sweet Chelsee!
