3 warm coats, 3 bathing suits, lots of M&Ms and Cheerios... (and that's just our luggage)

Finally, our amazing, life-changing trip has begun. We left HH at 5p for Savannah. Al drove Julee and me to a Marriott hotel by the airport since we have a 6AM flight in the morning. Ken and Lydia brought Tricia and Garrett to join us. Many tears later, we are mellowing at the wine and cheese hour at the hotel and we plan to take a dip in the indoor pool a little later.
I am tired, exhausted actually, but not sure if I will get any sleep tonight. I have been dreaming of this trip for 4 years....really longer than that if you count the time I have been yearning for another child.
We had a wonderful send off today from Julee and Garrett's school. During a very crowded Ash Wednesday mass, they announced our departure and sent us many prayers and good wishes for a safe journey and a joyful meeting of our new daughter.
If I could just stop throwing up.....
