We are just about to leave our Holiday Inn Downtown Hefei for the airport to fly China Southern to Guangzhou. The porters have come for the checked luggage and we are checking for anything left behind. It's hard to believe we are already on our way to the last leg of this journey. The days have been sooo long here but yet, it seems to have passed by so quickly. As I said before, I am sad to take Fu Mei away from here. I held her while looking out the window of our 24th floor room, and I told her as much as I could about Hefei and Anhui province. I wish we could have gone to Lu'An City where she was in her orphanage so I could help her remember more, but this will have to do.....til next time. I would love to see Julee bring Fu Mei back someday and this time, Lydia would get to come!!!
More later when we arrive in Guangzhou. Maybe we will see the sun?
