Happy 1st/4th Birthday Chelsee!!

I can't seem to wrap my head around today being Chelsee's 4th birthday! I can't believe we have her now and that we have the privilege of showing her how to celebrate a little girl's special day for the FIRST time! And then, I can't imagine not celebrating the last 3 birthdays of hers either! Either way, it's just so strange (yet wonderful) to be with Chelsee on her 4th birthday and to lavish her with gifts and attention and love! Although, that is exactly what all our days have been like since March 2, 2009!

We will keep it sorta simple with cake, ice-a cream and candles. All Chelsee really is interested in is blowing out the candles and singing the Happy Birthday song! I know she will like all the presents, etc but I know deep down, just loving her like we all do is all she really wants! I am betting next year though she will have list a mile long!! Hahah!

And as always, Chelsee's birth mom and foster mom are always near my heart. Today, I thank them from the bottom of my heart for the gift they have given me. I can not explain the depth of gratitude I have for these women for making my dreams come true! I love this child so deeply and I wish they could know how happy they have made so many people so far away!
