Oh this day is becoming sweeter and sweeter each year! In a few years, I imagine we will all celebrate this day as if it was wonderful, easy, natural and a piece of cake.....but as you know my sweet doll, this was one truly overwhelming and remarkable day!!! Remarkable because you handled the HUGE change in your immediate life beautifully but with such sadness and fear that it still brings me to tears. Remarkable because MY dreams were finally realized after an agonizing wait. Remarkable because I saw Julee's heart literally multiply before my eyes! And sooo remarkable because we witnessed the miracle of life in the most humbling of ways!
Yes, we look back on this special day two years ago with fondness now. It really was one of the most significant days in my life and yours. I admire your bravery, your will to find something happy and your ability to remember your feelings on this day! Nothing sums it up better than your description of this day: "It's the day we fell in love!" Remarkable! My joy, my forever, my Lu Fu Mei!
