It has taken an excruciating 6 months to complete all of the matching for families registered in January 2006. What started out as a promising year for us is now dwindling down to little hope for being matched with Chelsee this year. Maybe, just maybe, we will see her sweet face by Christmas but I can't quite let myself believe it yet. The numbers are still slowing down, so things could stall even more, we just aren't sure. What I do know is that it has taken THREE years and ONE month to complete the referrals from January 2005 to January 2006! Truly unimaginable when we began this journey in February 2005 when the wait time from Log In to Referral was about 6-8 months!
Lots of support from my family and friends is what helps me get through this agonizing wait. So I say thank you.....hang in there with me!
